Vegas Security Guard Sues Courtenay Semel

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

A couple months ago I told you about Courtenay Semel’s drunken altercation with a security guard in Las Vegas that ended up with her arrest.

(In case you’ve already forgotten, Semel is the daughter of former Yahoo! CEO, Terry Semel, and currently the girlfriend of Tila Tequila.)

Back in August, Semel was arrested after smacking Pure nightclub security guard, Jaroslaw Jarczok, in the back of the head while exiting the club. It was around 4 a.m. and according to Jarczok she was “quite intoxicated due to alcohol and/or chemical or other substances.”

He eventually detained her with handcuffs, which only led to a foul mouthed tirade against him. In the midst of it all, Courtenay had to remind him of who he was dealing with. She screamed at him,

“Do you even know who I am, f**king idiot? Google me, you dumb f**k.”

In a lawsuit filed yesterday in L.A. County Court, Jarczok claims he’s been humiliated and “anxious about receiving harassing comments by friends.”

Oh yeah? Well wait til they catch wind of you suing her! Then you’re really going to be butt of all your friends jokes, you dumbass. C’mon dude, we all know you make $9 an hour to bounce at a club and the extra cash would sure be fun to spend, wouldn’t it?

Gawd, I hate people who are sue happy. I hope his friends are making this
big, dumb bastard’s life hell.

Jarcozk is requesting unspecified damages…which means he will settle out of court for a lump sum.

Insert Blonde Joke Here.

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

A Bridgeport, Connecticut woman, sued L’Oreal Inc. claiming the blonde hair dye she had purchased was instead brown, causing her platinum locks to be dyed brunette.

This, of course, left the bimbo, Ms. Charlotte Feeney, so “traumatized” that it caused her to need anti-depressants.

Yes, really.

Not only that, she claims she was so distraught that she suffered from headaches and anxiety as well. But wait, we’re not done here. Heh.

She added that she so dearly missed “the attention that blondes receive” that she wouldn’t leave her house - and when she did, she would wear a hat in order to hide her gruesome self from the public.

Fortunately a Superior Court judge sided with L’Oreal (who disputed the claims) and dismissed her 2005 lawsuit Monday. The woman had insufficient evidence that the company had in fact made a mistake.

If something like this is truly that traumatic for this woman, imagine if something really bad happened to her. What if she came down with a skin disorder or was burned in a fire?

Buck up, blondie. You most certainly have harder times ahead.

Samantha Ronson Avoids Court by Paying Fine

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

Samantha Ronson has paid her outstanding balance of more than $86,000 to Perez Hilton in a judgement awarded to the blogger one year ago.

Ronson was due in court today, for not paying the balance, but paid off her debt last Friday and will not have to appear in court.

Troll blogger was sued by Ronson last year for defamation after he claimed that the cocaine found in Lindsay Lohan’s car after her May 2007 car crash was hers.

The case ended up being thrown out, but the troll blogger was awarded more than $86,000 to cover his legal fees.

Troll’s lawyer Bryan J. Freeman confirms that Ronson has paid her debts saying, “For fear of having to appear in court, she paid off the judgement.”

Bianca Golden: My Mother Was Kicked in the Vagina!

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

Bianca Golden speaks publicly for the first time with Tyra Banks about the airport incident that involved herself, her mother and actress Nikki Blonsky and Blonsky’s father.

The incident happened on July 29th in a Bahamian airport where Golden and family were returning from a family reunion after her grandfather had passed away.

Golden says that Nikki became “very rude to my aunt,” and an argument broke out between the two families.

She claims that Blonsky’s father, Carl, punched her mother, knocking her off her feet.

“He knocked her out. He hit my mom with such force she stumbled back and when she stumbled back the whole family got up and attacked my mom.”

If what Golden says is true, the Blonsky family got pretty vicious.

She goes on,

“She [Nikki] takes her foot and kicks my mom in her vagina, and that’s when my mom fell out completely.

“When Nikki kicked my mom I went and grabbed her arm and she grabbed my earring. Her mom sat on her to get her off of me cause her mom saw what was happening and that was that.”

After the incident, Golden’s mother was  airlifted to the hospital with internal bleeding, a broken nose and a fractured skull. Golden says her mother still has a bruised face, more than two months later.

Bianca, Carl and Nikki were all arrested on assault and a lawsuit is pending.

Why do I have a feeling that Bianca is leaving out a huge chunk of the story? Not that she is at fault here, but I doubt the family attacked her mother unprovoked. I’m sure her mom was talking mad sh*t before the attack! I bet you anything she called Blonsky a ‘fat bitch’! Wanna bet?  Heh.

The Tyra episode will air on October 8th.

‘Sex and the City’ Actor is an Animal Abuser

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

Joseph Petcka, a small time actor who had bit roles in ‘Sex and the City’ and other TV shows, is on trial for felony animal cruelty after savagely killing his girlfriends cat on March 27th, 2007.

Petcka’s defense is that he killed his girlfriend’s cat, Norman, in self defense. However, those claims were shot down after Lisa Altobelli told the courts her cat had been declawed.

Altobelli, a writer for Sports Illustrated, testified that she had a weird feeling about the relationship between her beloved pet and her boyfriend at the time.

She explained that one day she came home to her apartment and found her cat soaking wet and in shock. Norman wanted nothing to do with Petcka and seemed afraid of him.

“He was hissing. Obviously, that was a huge red flag.”

On the night of Norman’s death, Altobelli says that the couple got into an argument after Petcka had been drinking heavily.  He told her, “You love that cat more than me!”  Shortly after she went to bed.  She recalled hearing Petcka calling sweetly to the feline, “Norman… Norman…”

Next thing she remembers is being woken up by Petcka who grabed her neck and kneed her in the side.  He told her that Norman had attacked him.  She grabbed her purse and ran from her apartment screaming for him to leave or she would call the cops.

He left, but when she returned home she found Norman, beaten to death. “He was dead,” she said. “I put my hand there. He was cold and stiff.”

When she called and confronted him he simply hung up on her.

The cat reportedly died “extensive beating that caused broken ribs and massive internal injuries,” according to the ASPCA official who will be testifying against Petcka in court today.

Petcka faces two years in prison if convicted.

I think they should declaw Petcka.  With a rusty old pair of pliers.

Spears’ Attorney Claims She’s Owed $338K for Two Months of Work

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

Most lawyers are slime - except for when you need them. And even then..

Britney Spears indeed needed counsel to help in her custody battle with ex-husband, Kevin Federline. However, she’s getting reamed by Stacy Phillips, one of her attorneys who served the pop princess between the months of March and June.

From E!:

According to a declaration filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the “Sometimes I Run” songstress owes $338,414.87 to Phillips for $700-an-hour services rendered between March and June—and there are rumors of a lawsuit in the works, because Spears’ camp is objecting to the hefty sum.

But that’s a discount, says the attorney, who states that the tab includes “time already deducted as a courtesy,” time “written off” and $75,000 that she expects to get next month.

Phillips was dismissed before Spears’ custody settlement was reached last month with the help of Spears’ recently reinstated family lawyer Laura Wasser, who broke ranks last fall but returned in time to help Spears obtain more visitation privileges with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Wasser’s most recent bill, encompassing two months of counsel, totals $60,075, per another declaration filed on behalf of the law firm of Wasser, Cooperman & Carter.

But because her firm has already applied Spears’ $25,000 retainer fee toward her bill, she’s requesting no more than half of the total sum at this time.

Why so high, you might ask?

Phillips says that Spears’ conservatorship arrangement, which has gotten much of the credit for her 180-degree turn for the better over the last five months, made her case more complex.

Indeed. Attorneys for dad Jamie Spears indicated in court last week that they intend to contest his little girl’s legal bills. A hearing is scheduled for Sept. 16 to discuss Phillips’ fee.

Doesn’t that seem outrageous? Not surprising though. That’s a lawyer for ya.

Not a smart move on Phillips’ part as she will getting some negative publicity regarding this and everyone will know what an overpaid greedy douche she is.

Now for the obligatory lawyer joke:

Why does California have the most lawyers and New Jersey the most toxic waste dumps?

New Jersey had first choice.

50 Cent Sues Taco Bell

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

50 Cent is suing Taco Bell after they used his name in a marketing ploy to advertise their prices.

Taco Bell President Greg Creed officially asked the rapper to change his name from 50 Cent to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent and promised $10K to his favorite charity if he agreed. He wrote,

“We know that you adopted the name 50 Cent years ago as a metaphor for change. We at Taco Bell are also huge advocates for change. We encourage you to ‘Think Outside the Bun’ and hope you accept our offer.”

You had to admit, it was funny, but you knew he would never do it.

Well Fiddy isn’t laughing. He’s pissed that his fans are accusing him of being a sellout and he feels the company used his name to sell their products. He’s asking for $1 million.

Lawsuit documents read,

“Taco Bell traded on the name of the world’s biggest hip-hop star to draw attention to its new, hip-hop-based advertising campaign, and thereby generated massive publicity for its business.”

I’m sure Taco Bell is still loving all this attention. A piddly million was completely worth all the advertising they got from this - and then some.

Kevin Federline Retains Sole Custody!

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

It’s been a really long year for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline.

Finally, after battling for nearly two years for custody of their sons, Sean Preston 2½, and Jayden James 1½, the ex-couple have come to an agreement.

Federline will retain sole custody and Britney will keep her current agreement which allows for two days and one over-night per week.

In a sense it’s a little bit of a shock because Britney has really made an effort to stay out of the limelight and to get well. On the other hand, I think it is a brilliant decision because her mental health and her well being are two things that she needs to work on constantly, and how can you take care of your children if you can’t take care of yourself? I don’t think Britney’s quite there yet - but hopefully she will be, in time.

Brit’s visitation can be amended by a judge - which is what will most likely happen eventually as long as Britney stays on track.

People magazine spoke with a family attorney (who was not involved in this case) who gave her opinion on the future of this case. She said, “Until the kids turn 18, we can expect in years to come that Britney and Kevin will be back in court. Britney will have a better chance of winning more custody once she regains her health. This is just the end of Round One.”

Verne Troyer Sues TMZ for $20 Million

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

Verne Troyer, a.k.a. ‘Mini-Me’, is suing gossip website TMZ for publishing a slice of his supposedly “stolen” sex-tap yesterday.

Troyer filed a $20 million lawsuit against TMZ Thursday saying they violated his rights by publishing (TMZ.com) and airing (TMZ TV) parts of his sex tape. He also claims they violated his right of publicity and misappropriated his name and likeness. You know he hates being called mini-me!

The pint sized actor claims (as do they all) that his sex tape was stolen and miraculously ended up in the possession of the slimy dude, Kevin Blatt, who busted out Paris Hilton’s infamous, “One Night in Paris”. He is also named in the lawsuit.

Troyer is requesting an injunction stopping any further distribution of the video.

The lawsuit does not mention a monetary amount for damages.

Rotten, Rambo and a C*nt

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

John Lydon, a.k.a. ‘Johnny Rotten‘ of The Sex Pistols, is being sued by a former female assistant who claims she was assaulted by the legendary punk icon.

Roxane Davis, who was employed by the show Lydon was working on at the time, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles today claiming he hit her and verbally attacked her.

She alleges that he and another assistant (who went by the name of ‘Rambo’) unleashed on her after she failed to book them rooms at the Ritz Carlton with adjoining doors.

She says Lydon “cocked back his fist … and punched her in the face” and called her “a fat f**king c*nt, f**king c*nt, and fat f**king whore.”

Davis says she complained to her employer about the abuse she was taking, “but the complaints fell on deaf ears.”

Floyd Mayweather Sues FloydMayweather.net

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

FloydMayweather.net brazenly tauts itself as the ‘Official Website’ of famous boxer, Floyd ‘Pretty Boy’ Mayweather. However, it’s not.

In fact, Mr. Mayweather has absolutely nothing to do with the site. The site hosts photos, video footage and it says merchandise is ‘coming soon’. Mostly, the site wants you to become a member of it’s ‘official’ fan club for $50.

From FloydMayweather.net:

Your Membership Kit includes:

* Welcome & thank you letter from Pretty Boy Floyd
* Personalized Fan Club credentials
* Exclusive Pretty Boy Floyd logoed t-shirt
* 8×10 glossy of Pretty Boy Floyd in action

The lawsuit was filed in Nevada. Floyd is claiming the domain name is “distinctive and famous.” He is seeking unspecified damages.

Good for him. It’s only fair really. The moron running the site could have been a little smarter about it by not claiming to be ‘official’. I don’t think the fake welcome letter helped much either. It’ll be interesting to see how it goes as there are a sh*tload of similar sites out there.
