Britney Spears’ 2-year-old son Jayden James had to be hospitalized yesterday after he unexpectedly had a seizure around 3 p.m.

Britney, who is visiting family in her hometown of Kentwood, LA, rushed him to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center 25 miles away in nearby Mississippi.

A source told the Daily Mail,

“One minute Britney and her sons were relaxing and enjoying their first visit to Kentwood in months, and the next minute Jayden had fallen ill. He was vague and unresponsive so Britney dialed an ambulance. But she was told it would take half an hour to arrive, and she was best trying to get Jayden to the hospital herself.”

There was no immediate diagnosis so doctors kept the boy overnight. Britney asked for a bed and slept next to her son.

It is being reported that Kevin Federline is currently making his way out of Los Angeles to be with Jayden during this medical crisis.

UPDATE:

People magazine says Jayden did not have a seizure, but instead suffered a serious allergic reaction. He is said to be doing fine today.

Anyhow, Britney and her team posted pumpkin patch pics, which really are adorable. As an extra bonus, Team Brit snapped photos of the desperate paparazzi that followed her and her boys on the outing.

The men hang over the barriers, hoping to get a picture of the superstar. One even climbs a tree.

I think it’s great that Britney posts her own photos on her site, because when you think about it, it takes away from those bottom feeders who make money by trying to cram their cameras up Britney’s skirts. So much for exclusive, Britney already posted the pics on her own site. Heh. Good thinking..

And really, who wouldn’t rather visit Britney’s website than that of a slimy paparazzi agency?

Count me in.

Britney Spears met up with ex-husband Kevin Federline in court yesterday for her first custody hearing in over three months. This one went decidedly better than the last one, in that she didn’t show up five hours late and talking in a British accent. TMZ says

Brit will get three days of supervised visitation per week… [and] she will also have overnight visitation within a month. The goal is to ramp it up over the next few months so that Brit gets 50/50 custody [again].

Good for her. It looks like she’s finally learned her lesson. Like she said on the way out of the courthouse, “Making the decision to have a child – it’s momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body.” No, wait — that’s not right… I think it was Elizabeth Stone who said that. My mistake. Britney actually said, “Dammit, SP, I dun tole ya ta quit touchin’ Mama’s smokes with them grubby little fingers a yers. I sed QUIT!” Ah, the mother-child bond! It brings a tear to the eye.

Those supervised visits with mommy apparently register as “terrifying” on the toddler distress scale, because Britney’s boys have been having nightmares ever since she came back into their lives. According to Page Six

Sean Preston has been sleeping in the same room as father Kevin Federline lately because he’s been having nightmares. Preston also cried for his dad at first when Britney picked them up. The boys are said to be confused when it comes to their mom, which is another reason why either Jamie Spears or a psychologist is present during the visits.

I’d say “confused” is an understatement. You can’t expect a kid to just black out the night mommy was strapped to a stretcher and hauled away. The wail of the sirens; the flashing blue lights; the steady drone of the choppers circling overhead while mommy screams from inside the bathroom — it’s practically Viet fucking Nam, for Chrissakes. Only instead of the man in the black pajamas, it’s a fat chick in a pink wig and British accent. That’s got Post Traumatic Stress Disorder written all over it.

After nearly two months without seeing her children, Britney Spears was finally reunited with her sons on Saturday. People Magazine reports

After lawyers for Spears and Kevin Federline reached a visitation agreement Friday, the pop star saw her children for the first time since Jan. 3. Sources confirm that Jamie and Britney’s psychiatrist were present for the visit.

The last time they saw mommy she had one of them locked in the bathroom and left tied to a stretcher, so as long as one of them didn’t get eaten by a bear this time around, I can only assume it went a little better. Although I’m sure Sean Preston was disappointed in the lack of emergency vehicles and helicopters at Mommy’s house. That’ll all change once he’s old enough to start setting fires and torturing animals in a desperate plea for his mother’s attention. Nothing brings out the boys in blue and the firetrucks like arson and the first signs of sociopathic behavior. It sure worked like a charm for Charles Manson!

Shar Jackson has been more of a mother to Sean Preston and Jayden James than their own mother, Britney Spears, lately.

Shar says she has been helping out a bit with the two boys, who haven’t seen their mother in three weeks. She told Us Weekly that Sean and Jayden are doing well and haven’t really noticed that their mom hasn’t been around.

“They’re babies, you know, they don’t really know. Of course, all kids say, ‘mama,’ but they don’t really know [where she is],” said Shar.

She adds, “They have a lot of positive people around them, so they’re good. The kids all spend a lot of time together, but I’m not trying to take anybody’s place.”

She also said that she and Kevin have made an effort to remain good friends for the sake of the children.

“It could have gone really bad, and we could have become enemies. A lot of people choose to do that, but I don’t have time for that. Life is way too short, and we’re not promised tomorrow, so I don’t want to go out and have bad feelings with anybody.”

The boys and Kevin are lucky to have such a great lady in their lives. Shar is a genuine person and seems to always have the kids best interest at hand. That’s more than we can say for Ms. Someone Please Sew My Vagina Shut.

Despite initial reports that Jayden James and Sean Preston were okay, Britney’s little boys didn’t go entirely unscathed during her little meltdown last week. I’m not just talking about the emotional scars, either. Usmagazine.com says

When police arrived at Britney Spears’ Beverly Hills home on Jan. 3 to investigate her custody dispute with Kevin Federline, they discovered that her youngest son Jayden James had at least one bite and several bruises on his body. After [noting] the bite mark and bruises on the child, police were told… that older brother Sean Preston [was the one who] bit him.

Likely story. Sounds a lot better than Britney mistaking him for a giant marshmallow-covered pork chop, which is probably what actually happened. I imagine a lot of hand rubbing and salivating and a Fat Bastard-style “Get in mah bell-ay!” as she chased him around to a little Benny Hill theme music with a crazed look in her eye and a fork and knife in either hand.

Britney Spears has lost all visitation rights with her children after her complete metal breakdown. She is currently undergoing a 72-hour mental evaluation.

The court order is good until January 14th. A mere 10 days. Court Commissioner Scott Gordon stated in a ruling that Britney’s visitation “is suspended pending further order of the court.”

Well it’s about time.

Us magazine is reporting that Britney Spears went totally psycho on the gurney in the ambulance as she was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital last night.

A source recalled, “They had to strap her down like a mental patient and she was going between laughing and hysterics. [It was] a total psychotic breakdown. She just went crazy.”

Another source, close to Spears added, “I guess she has good days and bad days – it’s mental instability. All she has is to think of something sad and she goes crazy.”

Britney has been labeled as a “special needs” patient. This is only reserved for those who have “either overdosed or tried to commit suicide.” Patients are monitored and watched closely at all times.

We also know this morning that Sean Preston as well as little brother Jayden James, were BOTH taken to the hospital after the ordeal but were released at approximately 4AM this morning.

Britney is being placed on a 72-hour mental lockdown.

KFed’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is in court this morning to try and rid Spears of any visitation rights. Her lawyer, Tara Scott from the law firm of Trope and Trope, will still be representing Spears even though the firm has asked to withdraw as counsel.

- A gossip guru on Today (NBC) said that Britney hadn’t eaten or slept in days.

- Life & Style is reporting that Britney was NOT on drugs – that her blood tests came back negative for any illegal substances or alcohol. Now, take this with a grain of salt until it’s confirmed of course. This is according to an unnamed source. Remember, police believe Britney was on something. So, we’ll have to wait this one out to know for sure.

-There was an emergency custody hearing this morning, which Kevin Federline attended. It has since ended but will reconvene at 1:30PM PST. Kevin Federline may testify..

-The Spears’ clan is said to be terrified. Dad Jamie has been at the hospital since last night and her brother Bryan is supposed to arrive sometime today. Britney’s mom Lynne, has been in contact with Britney but is heading to the family’s hometown of Kentwood, La with pregnant daughter Jamie Lynn. Lynn says she is “extremely distraught” and added, “Just say prayers.”

- Britney will not be charged with anything having to do with the stand off at her home last night. LAPD Officer Harding stated, “We aren’t charging her with anything at this time. She is at the [hospital] for her own health and welfare.”

Former Britney Spears personal assistant, Kalie Machado, 23, is coming forward with her tales of Britney’s crazy life and her desire to win back Kevin Federline.

Machado talked with Us magazine and described the heart wrenching details of the Spears – Federline divorce.

“She wanted so badly to have the father of her babies. When Britney thought about Kevin not wanting her, she would bawl. She would look at Sean and Jayden and say, ‘Where’s your daddy? I need help. Where’s your daddy?’“

Machado also mentioned that the boys were present when Spears and Federline had their last fight. Machado says Spears felt she was tricked into the situation and that Kevin played her like a fiddle. Brit followed Kevin to New York, toting her sons along, ready to take a stance.

“She stood up for herself, and it kind of backfired. That was what he wanted.”

Spears started her downward spiral about this time and couldn’t fathom moving on with her life. She hung her wedding dress on the wall in her bedroom and placed autographed photos of the the couple throughout her home.

“She would ask, ‘Why did he do this to me?’ It just made her crazy and depressed. . .she needs mental help.”

Kind of sad really. I mean, I know Britney is a trainwreck on a well lubed track, but I have a hunch Kevin drove her to that point.

If you recall when Brit and Kevin hooked up was about the time she started doing weird shit. I’d be willing to bet that Kevin was the one to introduce her to drugs, and once he left, he left her with an addiction and a broken heart. Never a good combination.

The girl needs to get away. Move to Sweden, to Australia, to Italy. . .anywhere but here. Hell, Montana would work too. Disappear for a year and get herself together. But she won’t because the paparazzi and the media give her the attention that she so intensely craves and needs.

I honestly think the best thing that could happen to her would be to lose the boys so she could take care of herself. Because if she doesn’t do that those boys may lose a mother, and Kevin, a paycheck.

Britney Spears has been denied custody of her children by the courts and was granted only a few visits a week.

Commissioner Scott Gordon gave Brit three visits a week, two from 12:00-7:00 PM and one overnight visit. All visits will be monitored as they have been.

Britney and Kevin were ordered to work out a holiday schedule for the boys and Britney must childproof her swimming pool by Friday.

The order stated that when Britney has the kids, “the environment at the house ranged from chaotic to almost somber with little communication at all.” It also noted that her parenting coach said that “during all three of my visits, Ms. Spears rarely engaged with the children in either conversation or play.”

According to the report, the coach wrote,

“It seems that [Britney’s] choices are dependent more upon what she wants to do at any given time rather than what would be more enjoyable for the children.”

The coach is also quoted as saying that there is a “lack of general attention at times” but there was nothing she “would characterize as abusive in a traditional sense.”

“The problem is that unless Ms. Spears realizes the consequences of her behavior and the impact that it has [on] her children, nothing is going to be successful.”
