Janet Jackson’s tribute performance to late brother Michael at the VMA’s

The Michael Jackson tribute for the MTV Video Music Awards started with MJ’s song, Thriller as various clips of Michael played on the big screen above.

Dancers performed to a collection of Michael’s hits, finally ending with the Michael & Janet duet, Scream, when Janet came onstage. A great opening for the show and it is always great to see Janet perform. I just wish she could/would sing LIVE!

For awhile now rumors of a split between Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri have been swirling, but now we are hearing the news is official.

You may have noticed Jermaine did not attend the Michael Jackson funeral, because apparently he doesn’t do funerals. Or so says a friend.

The couple have been on a rocky road for quite sometime and sources are saying that they split after 7 years due to “mixing business with pleasure”. Who knows if that holds true or not, but I thought it odd that he didn’t at least support his gal during what is probably the most traumatic time in her life. That right there could have put her over the edge.

When people lose loved one it definitely puts a strain on relationships – especially ones that were suffering to begin with.

After my dad died in ‘98, the relationship I was in (also for 7 yrs) went down the drain almost immediately. Ironically, we broke up on my dad’s birthday, four months after his death.

Janet has her plate full right now and probably doesn’t even have time to even be in a relationship. Besides, I always though Janet could do better than Jermaine. I’m sure he’s a great guy and all, but he looks like a troll!

Hopefully Janet will find a good man one of these days. One who will support her and love her for who she is – not her stardom. She deserves it. As does everyone.

Michael Jackson’s sister, Janet Jackson, made a surprising speech at the 2009 BET Awards after losing her brother.

In what I think was the only highlight of the night’s show, Michael’s sister paid tribute to her older brother, in a touching speech where she remembered her late sibling.

Janet and Michael were always close, and I am sure losing him will affect her greatly. I can relate as I too, have lost a brother.

She said, “To you, Michael is an icon, to us, he is family.” I have no question that Janet loved Michael, and it showed in her face as she spoke to the crowd.

Janet Jackson recently canceled a series of shows in her “Rock Witchu” tour, due to what was reported as migraine associated vertigo.

The makeup shows also ended up being canceled for what her people are calling, ’schedule conflicts’.

Which leaves us to wonder if the pop singer may be pregnant. What makes us think this?

A recent interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine where Ms. Jackson said,

“At some point it’s coming. When? I have no idea. He (Dupri) has been past ready. He’s just waiting for me; I’m the one holding up the whole thing.

“Everyone tells me that there will never be a good time, that I will always be busy, but I just think when the stars are aligned it will happen.”

Is Janet hinting at something or have the stars yet to be aligned? Time will tell!

For fear of breaking local obscenity laws, Janet Jackson decided not to perform a risque dance routine at her Michigan concert.

The segment of her performance included her inviting a male audience member onstage, tying him up and fondling him as her backup dancers stroked themselves.

Hopefully she doesn’t wear her goofy ass C3PO outfit during that segment. It would kind of kill it, ya know? Such a nasty little fattie! Heh.

Michigan’s decency laws are quite strict and prohibit simulating sex acts during a public performance.

A rep for the show said, “We explained the law, asked her not to do it, she complied. We did not ask her to cut the song. That was her call.”

Jackson’s manager commented, “Janet did not want to disappoint her Detroit-area fans again, so we adhered to Michigan’s state ordinance and trimmed the Discipline segment of the show so it would not be cancelled.”

Damn.  She’s not dead or gravely ill.  Janet Jackson just had a HEADACHE all this time.

Jackson’s publicist said Wednesday she has been suffering from migraine-associated vertigo, which led to her canceling a string of shows. She is being treated for the illness, which is characterized by dizziness, imbalance and other symptoms.

Two words: god damn. One more word: pussy. She’s got her publicist covering for her since last month just because she didn’t want to disclose that she had a headache? That she was dizzy?  If I walked into work after taking a couple of days off and told them it was because my head hurt, they’d beat me over the head with a stapler. Repeatedly. Until that headache returned and I really needed an excuse to call in sick.  Of course, this time around, I would have to also care for the huge dent on the side of my head.

After taking a couple of weeks off from touring due to an unknown illness, Janet Jackson is ready to hit the stage again.

It has been revealed that Janet, 42, was suffering from vestibular migraines which creates the sensation of vertigo

Janet’s manager released the following statement,

“[Janet is] a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans the show they expect. She’s feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again.”

Janet will be performing tonight at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. and has rescheduled her Madison Square Garden show for November 1st. Other canceled shows are also currently being rescheduled and will be announced soon.

Poor Janet, migraines suck. I suffer from “Ice Pick” migraines, which feel just like they sound.  Stabbing, sharp excruciating pain. So I can relate.

Janet is receiving treatment and should be good to go from here. Best of luck to her.

Janet Jackson seems to be taking a popular trend of being “fashionably late” to an event to a whole new level–she’s not showing up at all.

The kid sister of Michael Jackson postponed yet another concert, set for Monday night, and hasn’t performed at all since her show in Montreal was called off at the last minute on Sept 29.

Jackson was rushed to hospital in Montreal but quickly released and no details have been released on what health issues the singer is suffering from.

You can’t help but admit there is something fishy going on.   What is funny is that she’s making it seem like she’s doing okay by telling people she’s going to perform, and at the last minute being like “oh, well my doctor just said no.”  I know when I’m sick, my doctor tells me right off the bat around how much time i should spend recuperating–He doesn’t just call me right before I drive off to work every morning that maybe I should spend some more time sleeping.  With all these broken promises, I wouldn’t rely too heavily on her supposed rescheduling, in fact, I wouldn’t be surprised to find her picture in the newspaper under the headline “Goodnight Sweet Prince(ss).”  I’m just saying.

Those damned nosey journalists and paparazzo’s need to get through her trash quick.  I’m getting impatient.

Janet Jackson had to cancel her concert in Montreal within hours before she was set to perform after suddenly getting sick.

According to statement released by W&W Public Relations, the singer canceled her concert in Montreal on Monday after she “got suddenly ill” during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time.

The statement says Jackson is being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about Jackson’s condition.

My diagnosis: Janet’s corsets are worn too often and too tight for a chunky monkey like her.  The only people who are truly concerned are the twenty total 55 and older concert attenders that bothered with wasting their time in the first place.  I hope you learned your lesson: not every post-menopause raunchy singer can a Madonna.

Look out. Janet Jackson has come up with the hair brained idea to release her own lingerie line called “Pleasure Principle.’ Here is some of what she has to say:

“People have come to me with other ideas, but lingerie is a passion for me, and just like music and acting, I can’t do it unless I put 100 percent into it,” Jackson said.

I can see hundreds of people across America buying this lingerie strictly for role play reasons. Men are going to be lying on their mattresses watching their mistresses lip sync to pop music, and before their very eyes their clothes are going to pop off one by one. The rest of the evening will be spent trying to determine if that was actually planned or was an accident. Some of the more cocky ones just for fun might try to sue Janet for injury over the wardrobe malfunction. It’s going to be good times.

I’d post pictures of this old hag, but would anybody really want them? I thought not.

When I first saw this shot I thought hottie Eva Mendes was standing next to a really fug cardboard cutout of Fergie Ferg!

Damn, she looks like she has taken one too many shots to the face . . and not like that, you sicko.

Hilary and Haylie Duff also attended the event. Can you find two things that match on Hilary? Me either. This time it’s Haylie who looks amazing.

And then there was Janet. It looks like Miss Jackson borrowed LaToya’s wig. I think JJ is back on the carb diet again too . .
