Fantasia’s Home in Foreclosure?

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

There are mixed reports this morning as to whether or not American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino is about to lose her home in Charlotte, NC.

As rumor has it, Fantasia failed to keep up payments on the luxurious home and that the county would be auctioning off the home in January.

Apparently these reports are NOT true.

A relative of Barrino’s told the New York Post that the whole thing is a misunderstanding and has gotten blown out of proportion after the singer missed a court date regarding the issue.

Fantasia also owns another home nearby, valued at $740,000.

Celebrity Quote of the Day - Shia LaBeouf

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

“My dad lives in Montana in a tepee, and he gets cold, so he comes up to my house for the winters and stays in the garage. He’s got an air mattress set up for him; it’s very comfortable. I love him, but we have similar tastes. Living in close proximity, we get into little battles. Over the fridge, over supplies, just everyday average stuff. Toothpaste, clean towels… it becomes a little overbearing, so we keep him in the garage.”

Ed McMahon Fights Foreclosure on His Beverly Hills Mansion

Ed McMahon Foreclosure

Television icon, Ed McMahon, is fighting to keep his multi-million dollar home.

Since breaking his neck well over a year ago he hasn’t been able to work, causing him to get behind in mortgage payments.

McMahon, 85, best known for being Johnny Carson’s sidekick and spokesperson for American Family Publishers’, was a whopping $644,000 behind in payments when a default notice was filed with the Los Angeles County Recorder’s Office back in February.

McMahon’s spokesman, Howard Bragman said, “There are plenty of people affected by the weak economy, bad housing market or bad healt.”

He adds that McMahon has been discussing options with the lender but is not sure what the outcome will be at this point. The home is worth over $6 million and has been on the market over two years. Apparently it’s not far from Britney Spears’ pad, which doesn’t help, due to the paps infecting the area.

Poor Ed! To be 85, recovering from a broken neck and then to possibly lose your home. Nobody deserves that. Especially at 85!

Although I have to admit, I find it bizarre for someone who has been in Hollywood for as long as he has, to not be able to take work off for a year and still be able to live?

Regardless, I wish the best for he and his wife Pamela.

Demon Runs Amy Winehouse Out of Home

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

Amy Winehouse left her North London home last night after she claims she was tormented by a ghost who resides there.

Amy is staying at a hotel and is refusing to return home until an exorcism is performed.

She has named the ghost Henry, and she blames him for the fresh scratches on her arms.

A Winehouse source says, “She has a spare room in her house which she has been too terrified to redecorate because she believes a child died there. It has creepy airplane wallpaper and a weird feel to it. Amy is terrified because she thinks he’s managed to take over the entire house and has brought bad spirits with him that are scratching and harming her.”

Is Amy’s home haunted or is she just too messed up to distinguish reality from hallucination? I’m guessing the latter. It’s called a ‘bad trip’.

In case you missed Pete Doherty and Amy tripping on baby mice earlier this week, check it out, it’s funny and sad at the same time!

Gary Busey’s Eviction Notice

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

Gary Busey is being evicted from his Malibu home, but he isn’t going down without a fight.

The owner of the home claims that Busey owes $50,000 in back rent, but the actor is claiming that he has refused to pay up due to there being “unclean air conditioning vents” which are causing him health problems.

But wait a minute, Gary Busey does not own his own home? Oh Gary, Gary, Gary. I feel bad for the guy. He might be a little soft in the head, but I love him. He’s such a trainwreck, but he means no harm!

Anyhow an eviction notice was posted on his home yesterday. Busey will make an appearance on “Access Hollywood” tonight, explaining his side of the story.

These photos of Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch are actually quite beautiful - but also a tad eerie. But the lavishness of it all is amazing.

You can find tons more photographs of the estate here.

A woman named none other than Billie Jean Jackson, I kid you not, was arrested at the Neverland Ranch Monday night.

Billie Jean, 60, was busted for trespassing on the property. She told the security guard at the gate that she was the wife of Michael Jackson and that Neverland was hers too. He sent her away but she continued on down the road, eventually climbing over the fence where she was detained by security. The woman has been arrested in the past numerous times for trespassing at the ranch.

She was promptly taken to the Santa Barbara County Jail where her bail was set at $2,500.

Lindsay Lohan is Broke

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

lindsay-lohan-10-12-a.jpg

It was fun while it lasted.

After a hardcore year of shopping, boozing and drugging, Lindsay Lohan has managed to blow over $7 million dollars.

Besides loads and loads of cocaine, Lindsay blew her money on all sorts of things. She spent $1 million dollars on a single hotel bill, $137,000 in rehab costs, thousands in legal fees, $375,000 on cars, $70,000 on hair and tanning and over $1 million in clothing.

Lohan is back in LA and staying in the guest house of billionaire Tom Gores, the executive producer of ‘I Know Who Killed Me’.

A friend of Lindsay’s said,

“Lindsay doesn’t have much choice as she is totally broke. The only reason she’s coming back to LA, is to earn some money fast. She still thinks nothing of blowing thousands of dollars on a single night of partying. And the amount she has wasted putting cocaine up her nose is disgusting. Even she has lost count.”

Last year Lindsay lived at the Chateau Marmont, spending $450,000 on her $1,200-a-night suite. She also blew $500,000 on having 24 hour standby chauffeurs, and ordered ‘endless’ bottles of Cristal at $550 a bottle. Lindsay’s unpaid bills at the Marmont piled up and she was eventually evicted.

Lindsay has to sell her apartments in LA and New York because she cannot afford the rent.

Nicholas Cage Awakens to Find Weirdo in Home

Source: www.celebritysmackblog.com

weirdo-1003.jpg

Nicholas Cage awoke at 2:00am the other morning to some strange man wandering around inside his home. The man, Robert Furo, was wearing Cage’s jacket when discovered. Cage calmly called the gate guard who in return called police.

Cage then walked the man out to his backyard where police met up with him. Furo was arrested a short time later. There were no signs of forced entry and the arrest went smoothly.

Furo has plead not guilty and is still in captivity. He’s due back in court for a pre-trial hearing on October 10th.
