And they said it wouldn’t last.  Heh. Paris Hilton and Benji Madden have reportedly broken up.

Hilton’s rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly Wednesday.

A source told the magazine, “Even though they are still in love, they felt it would be better to just be friends. Benji was overprotective and controlling. He doesn’t get along with any of her friends. Friends thought Paris had changed since being with Benji and she wants to be herself again.”

This past weekend Hilton was spotted with ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos. Meanwhile, Madden hung out with his brother, Benji.

The source adds that nothing is going on between Stavros and Hilton, they just happened to be at the same place at the same time.

Benji and Paris have been together for nine months. Both have hinted during the course of their relationship that the other may have been, “the one”.

I know, I know, this news is upsetting. The couple we all model our own relationships after haven’t persevered. Just what will the rest of us do?

Evan Rachel Wood recently dumped her industrial metal boyfriend, Marilyn Manson after the couple were involved in a fight involving the actress’s brother.

Manson, 39, had been living with Wood, 21, in her Hollywood home while her unemployed brother, Ira, 23, lived in the guest house.

Manson decided he wanted Ira out of the guest house and played a sort of ‘it’s either him or me’ head game with Wood.

A source explains, “Evan owned the house and didn’t want her unemployed sibling living on the street. It was the tipping point.”

And to think his looks didn’t have anything to do with it..

The couple began have been together since December 2006, just after Manson’s split with then wife, Dita Von Teese.

Simon Cowell and longtime girlfriend, Terri Seymour have split after six years. British tabloids are claiming that Cowell is already back together with ex-girlfriend, Sinitta.

Cowell’s publicist, Max Clifford, confirmed the breakup but adds that Terri and Simon are on good terms.

“Terri phoned Simon and finished it in September, about six weeks ago.They are going to remain close friends. Simon thinks the world of Terri and that isn’t going to change. He also understands her reason for ending it.

“In the past Terri has said that she wants kids but that just isn’t Simon. Nobody else is involved, certainly not on Simon’s side.”

Simon and Sinitta have both exited their longterm relationships and are coping together. They originally dated 18 years ago.

Simon insists the two are only good friends who are supporting one another.

After months of speculation that Madonna and Guy Ritchie are ending their eight year marriage, it seems all is finally coming to an end.

The couple had tried their best to put on happy faces and make public outings to ward off the rumors, but the truth is finally coming out. Not to say that they didn’t give it a shot, because reportedly they did.

Complicating the situation is that Madonna wants to wait until the end of her world tour to make it official.

It’s always business first with her, isn’t it?

Apparently Guy grew tired of it all and decided he wants out - now.

The couple’s fighting has gotten so bad that he can’t live with it any longer. The New York Post is reporting that one of the major problems in their marriage is in how they want to raise their children.

Madonna would like to raise them in the states, which daughter Lourdes is also in favor of since her father lives here. Guy, however, would like to raise the children out of the public eye and in his homeland of England. Another issue leading to the marriage’s demise is that Madge wants to adopt again, and Guy is not ready to do so.

Meanwhile, rumors of Madonna’s alleged relationship with Yankee baseball star Alex Rodriguez continue, with the couple being spotted out to dinner as recently as a couple weeks ago.

It seems the rumors are true.

Holly Madison and Hugh Hefner have split up.

A cameraman spoke with Holly and she was kind enough to chat on camera for a bit. He told her that he wanted to go to the Playboy Mansion’s Halloween Party and Holly replied that she has no pull these days because she and Hef aren’t together anymore. And she sure doesn’t seem very broken up about it!

I think both she and Hef got what they wanted out of that relationship..

Rumors of Holly Madison leaving her Playboy mogul boyfriend, Hugh Hefner, have been swirling the internet for weeks now, but supposedly the rumors are true.

A source told the Scandalist, “She told Hef that she is moving out of the mansion and breaking off their relationship.”

Hef’s mansion will be empty soon being as Kendra and Bridget are also leaving, to pursue their own careers.

It looks like Hef will have to put out an active search for three new bimbos to play with as he pleases.

The source adds, “Hef is actively seeking three new girls to replace them immediately.”

In exchange for fame, money, and luxury the new girls will just have to learn to have sex on demand - and might have to get used to the gay porn that Hugh likes to watch on the big screen before he has sex.  Not that I know for sure, it’s just what I have heard..  Heh.

As for Criss Angel and Holly hooking up, nothing is confirmed yet, but that’s what word is on the streets.

After only two months of marriage Chris Kattan, 37, and his wife, Sunshine Tutt, 31, have split up.

The couple have been together since 2005, but it seems that marriage wasn’t kind to the former SNL star and his model bride. They were married June 28th.

A rep for the couple insists there are no plans for a divorce, at least not yet. He told Us magazine, “Separated for the moment. No plans for divorce at this time.”

I was so confident that John Mayer had been the one to dump Jennifer Aniston, but apparently that was not the case.

The new rumor is that Jen got sick and tired of John’s wandering eye.

They say that Jen actually gave his the ‘three strikes, you’re out’ routine, and after the third strike, a groupie, she kicked him to the curb.

The first two were a cocktail waitress and a promoter’s assistant. Cocktail waitresses are major hookers, man. Every major movie star has done one - or fifty!

A friend who is reportedly close to Aniston said,

“Jen who decided to move on. She is very fond of John and has thought he might be the one. She finds him funny, sexy and very talented. Plus he understands all the aspects of living in a fishbowl. But in the final analysis, she just got tired of his roving eye.”

If you recall, just last week their faces were splashed over all the gossip rags with hints of blessed babies and marvelous marriage.

I knew better. I said let’s wait and see if they make it until next month first. And did they? Hell no! They barely made it a week after the mags hit the shelves!

Rumor has it that Mayer was the one to do the breaking up. Duh.

Is Aniston just totally desperate, or what? Geeze, she must have real self confidence problems because desperateness seeps from her pores! And as they say, if you can’t love yourself, who can love you?

And as for John, it’s simply the thrill of the hunt.
