Shia LaBeouf may be headed to rehab soon, an effort to reduce or beat his drunk driving charges.

LaBeouf, 22, crushed his hand in the accident and required surgery. He was released from the hospital last weekend and has been told he should do the rehab thing in order to help his case.  But not because he is a drunk or anything..

He is due in court later this month.

Jerry Seinfeld Crashes Car

Jerry Seinfeld is not only a funny man…he’s a very, very lucky one as well.

Last Saturday night at approximately 7:40pm, Seinfeld was driving by himself in the Hamptons when the brakes on his classic 1967 Fiat BTM suddenly failed.

He was headed straight for an intersection.

He tried pulling his emergency brake – which also failed – and after thinking quickly he swerved away from the intersection, causing the car to flip over. It landed only yards from the highway.

Hamptons Police Chief Todd Sarris said that the funny man most likely “avoided a very serious accident.” It’s nice to know someone in Hollywood can drive!

Seinfeld had not been drinking and miraculously did not need medical attention.

His wife Jessica tells the NY Post, “He was a little shocked when he walked in and it started to dawn on him what happened. It could have been a lot worse, obviously, and thank God it wasn’t. He’s fine.”

Jerry may have been shaken after the accident, but he still managed to crack jokes.

“Because I know there are kids out there, I want to make sure they all know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless you have professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do,” he told the newspaper. “It is not something I plan to make a habit.”
