Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is engaged to his girlfriend of two years, Danielle Deleasa.
She excitedly accepted . . . over and over.
“She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row,” said Jonas, who met Danielle, a former hair stylist, in the Bahamas in 2007.
Jonas, 21, proposed Wednesday morning after flying in from Vancouver after a show. He says he was distracted at Tuesday night’s performance knowing that he was about to propose. Once he got to Jersey he showed up on her doorstep and popped the question.
When the couple met Danielle had no clue who the Jonas Brother were. (Do you believe that one?)
Kevin’s father, Kevin Sr. released a statement regarding his oldest son’s wedding plans: “Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage,. Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family’s celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.”
OK! magazine’s latest issue has Michael Jackson on the cover – covered in a stretcher in what may have been his last moments.
The cover is causing outrage among his fans, the magazine’s advertisers and the music community.
The tabloid spent $500,000 on the “death photo” but it may end up costing them.
The source told the New York Post: “Media buyers have canceled upcoming meetings to discuss rates. It’s a disgrace. They’ve sunk to a new low.”
A spokesperson for the magazine has denied those reports. “This is untrue. No one at OK! has been contacted about any such cancellations as a result of the magazine’s coverage of this news event. Any pages booked by the advertising team are running as scheduled.”
Actor Karl Malden has died of natural causes at the age of 97.
Malden was best known for the television series “The Streets of San Francisco” in the 1970s and was the American Express Traveler’s Check spokesperson. He also served as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences president from 1989-92.
Malden’s daughter, Mila, has confirmed the news.
I hate to say it, but man, it’s a bad time to be a celebrity right now! It’s actually nice to see one who made it to 97! Yay Karl!
Michael Jackson’s Last Will & Testament not only names his mother as the guardian of his children, he also names Diana Ross.
Which isn’t really surprising, he and Diana had a friendship that lasted years. She has said of Michael’s death: “I am unable to imagine this. My heart is hurting. I am in prayer for his kids and the family.”
“If any of my children are minors at the time of my death I nominate my mother, Katherine Jackson as guardian of the persons and estates of such minor children. If Katherine Jackson fails to survive me, I nominate Diana Ross as guardian of the persons and estates of such minor children .”
Michael has left all assets to the Michael Jackson Family Trust. Attorney John Branca and John McClain, a music executive, are named as executors.
No charities were named and father Joe Jackson wasn’t exactly omitted being as the funds will go into the family trust.

Hayden Panettiere bares it all in her new film, I Love You Beth Cooper.
Hayden’s character, Beth Cooper, a cheerleader (shocking), drops her towel in a locker room in one scene.
When asked about it Hayden says she had no inhibitions. “If I can’t flaunt it at 20, come on! I mean I might as well show it now.”
But showing it to a roomful of people?
“It didn’t bother me much. I think when the person who’s doing it gets all uncomfortable and shy, then it’s other people around who get more uncomfortable because they’re uncomfortable. I mean I was fine – everyone was really professional.”
Yep, you might as well do it now, I mean you’re going to be – GASP! – 30 in 10 years!
Farrah Fawcett’s funeral photos and the program from the service.
A poem inside the program is James Joyce’s “At That Hour”:
Play on, invisible harps, unto Love,
Whose way in heaven is aglow
At that hour when soft lights come and go,
Soft sweet music in the air above
And in the earth below.
They chose a beautiful photo of Farrah for the cover.
And despite him having enormous respect for the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, he says he won’t be attending his funeral on Sunday.
Jones says that funerals are just too emotional for him anymore. He told ET: “I won’t go to any more funerals as long as I live. I can’t handle it.”
The iconic music producer prefers to remember Michael when he was a budding superstar. He worked with Michael on the legendary album, Thriller. He blogged for the LA Times:
“He was so shy he’d sit down and sing behind the couch with his back to me while I sat there with my hands over my eyes with the lights off.”
“I told Michael that we needed a black rock ‘n’ roll tune, a black ‘My Sharona’, and a begging tune for the album,” Jones says. “He came back with ‘Beat It’ and Rod came back with ‘The Lady in My Life.’ Rod also brought in ‘Thriller’ and Michael sang his heart out on it. At one point during the session the right speaker burst into flames, which none of us had ever seen before. How’s that for a sign?
“There will be a lot written about what came next in Michael’s life, but for me all of that is just noise.
“I promise you in 50, 75, 100 years, what will be remembered is the music. It’s no accident that almost three decades later, no matter where I go in the world, in every club and karaoke bar, like clockwork, you hear ‘Billie Jean,’ ‘Beat It,’ ‘Wanna Be Starting Something,’ ‘Rock With You’ and ‘Thriller.’”
I’ll admit, I remember when Thriller came out, and seriously, it was everything. Michael was everywhere. I don’t think I have ever seen anything like it in my life, still. It was definitely fun being 12 years old when it came out. Of course I had posters of MJ all over my bedroom, listened to the album incessantly and practiced moonwalking. But everyone did that. However I think I took it a little further by also having MJ earrings (egad, right?) MJ pins on my Levi jean jacket (how feminine) and a black glove that my mom was had sewn sequins on, since in my small town, MJ gloves weren’t exactly in stores. Luckily, I grew out of it.
Anyhow, back to the Quincy and him not attending the funeral. I don’t blame him. Number one, I think it is going to be a circus. Number two, funerals suck. I try to avoid them as well. If you have ever lost anyone in your life a funeral can be hell, triggering memories of your missing loved ones. Sort of brings all those emotions back. I’m sure Quincy has suffered many losses and I know that he also cared very deeply for Michael. Unlike some others, he doesn’t need to go to the funeral to prove anything.

These Jennifer Aniston pictures aren’t new, but she (and her girls) look so hot, I couldn’t resist. I look at them her and think Brad Pitt must’ve been crazy to leave her for Angelina- well, maybe he’s not crazy. Just insanely lucky.
I’ll just have to settle for these picture. Old but very good.
It looks like some lucky-ass photographer got to hang out on a lazy Saturday afternoon with Scarlett Johansson. At least, that’s how the pictures look, and that’s good enough for me. I’d almost forgot just how hot Scarlett is.
