Jennifer Aniston and singer John Mayer were seen sharing a romantic lunch at Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink in Miami over the weekend. Granted, this has Ashton Kutcher’s Pop Fiction-y stank all over it, but Jen’s just desperate enough to make it believable. According to OK! Magazine

During their 90-minute meal, Jen, ordered the chopped chicken salad while John, 30, enjoyed a Serrano ham sandwich. The… two shared a chocolale and peanut butter layered dessert. Later that evening, the two met up for dinner at Casa Tua on South Beach.

Sounds like love is on the menu for these two sexy stars!

All I know is if some guy in coveralls tells you “love is on the menu tonight,” you need to find some Vaseline and whiskey pronto. And also, saying “love is in the air” is way funnier than saying “whoever smelt it dealt it.” Words to live by, my friends! Words to live by.

John Travolta unveiled a dashing new mustache for his role as Ryder in the remake of the 1974 classic “The Taking of Pelham 123.” According to the Daily Mail

Joining Travolta in [an] all-star cast will be Oscar-winner Denzel Washington and James Gandolfini [as] the Mayor of New York, struggling to outwit crime boss Travolta, who is holding the city to ransom.

Oh, yeah. That moustache really screams “boss of a group of mobsters.” Only replace the word “boss” with “queen” and the word “mobsters” with “an Indian, a sailor, and a cowboy in buttless chaps.” A stirring biopic chronicling the rise and fall of the disco era. Rated R for language, drug usage, and super-duper overt gayness.

Last week I posted the pics of Miley Cyrus that popped up on the internet of her showing her green bra and posing playfully with her then geeky boyfriend.

For some reason a lot of you didn’t think that was her, but surprise surprise, it was. Miley apologized for the pics, to help keep up with her squeaky clean image.

“The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone. Most of all, I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support team. My family and my faith will guide me through my life’s journey.”

So once again Hollywood has placed these crazy expectations on the current teen ‘it’ girl, expecting her to be pure and virginal until marriage or she’s all used up..which ever comes first. Usually it’s the latter. But until then they have no problem exploiting her. Britney, anyone?

Miley’s latest controversial photos will be in an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair, showing her seemingly topless. There’s already a buzz going around about the photoshoot by Annie Leibovitz being as Miley is only 15 years old. But why do we care? Her parents don’t seem to.

Miley Cyrus issued a statement apologizing for those suggestive MySpace pictures and for a photo shoot in next month’s Vanity Fair in which she appears to be topless. People Magazine quotes her as saying:

On Vanity Fair:

“I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie [Leibovitz]. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.”

On the MySpace pictures:

“The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone.

Most of all, I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support team. My family and my faith will guide me through my life’s journey.”

The Disney Channel’s spin on it:

“Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines.”

And lastly, Vanity Fair’s take on it:

“Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley. The photo suggests that she is [naked], but she is not. She is covered by a sheet, and beneath the sheet she is clothed.”

Originally, she was in a flesh-colored tank top but was asked to remove it.”

And MY take on it:

Jesus H. Christ. If we’re going to start arguing the hypersexualization of little girls, how ’bout we start with those god-awful Bratz dolls that every seven year old in pigtails seems to have? That Vanity Fair photo is no more provocative than a halter top, but this little yo-ho looks like she’s about to offer me a half and half plus Greek if I want to come up three o’clock. Those are awfully big words to have to explain to a second grader. Fortunately, pointing and lewd hand gestures still do the trick in Nepal. Sex sells, sweethearts!

AP: Why take your search for a new best friend to the reality-TV world?

Paris Hilton: Well I did ”The Simple Life” for five seasons. I had a great time. I love reality TV. It’s my favorite to watch. When I was approached with this idea I just thought it would be so much fun, being a producer on the show as well, having boys and girls move into a house all vying to be my best friend, I just thought it’d be fun and I’d also like to meet some new friends.

AP: Do you think you can find a real, lasting friendship this way? Do you have a preference of male or female?

I just want to see the contestants and see how they are. I don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl, just as long as its someone I can trust, someone I can have fun with and just someone who’s going to be able to like handle all the other things that are going to come with being my best friend.

AP: Like what?

Just being in the media, just someone who’s not going to care about that, just someone who cares about me.

AP: What are some of the qualities you’re looking for in a new best friend?

Just someone who’s fun, someone who I can trust and just someone who, I don’t know, just someone to get along with that is not going to screw me over. Just someone to have a great time with.

AP: You recently found a new best friend in Benji Madden. What are some of the challenges in finding friends you click with?

It is hard meeting new people. Most of my friends I’ve had my entire life, like obviously my sister and Nicole Richie have been with me forever. So when I meet new people, I’m always a little wary of the reason they may want to become my friend. I can usually just tell by when we’re out in public and there’s paparazzi around, I see, you know, who gets a little bit too excited or whatever. I can tell how those people are.

AP: Because it’s a show, it’s possible that some contestants might be more interested in being on TV than being your best friend. How will you determine people’s sincerity?

We’re at MTV right now and just going over all the challenges and different things we’re going to be putting the contestants through. I can’t really tell because they’re all top secret.

AP: How has this experience been different from ”The Simple Life” and your feature-film work?

This is like completely different. ”The Simple Life” was more fish-out-of-water, Nicole and I just doing things we’ve never done.

AP: What kinds of things appeal to you when you’re looking at the videos on ParisBFF.com?

Just people who are fun, people who I know are going to be great on TV, people who have fun personalities, they’re not shy, the people who tell their deepest secrets, people who are open to being honest and having a great time. That’s what my show’s about.

AP: Talk about your role as executive producer.

Actually I was a producer of ”The Simple Life” as well. Well, just being in control of everything and making all the decisions and just really being on top of everything, coming up with ideas. The casting process, with ”The Simple Life” I didn’t do all that, so this has been a lot of work but a lot of fun as well.

AP: What else is going on with you?

I’ve just been traveling for a while and just launched my clothing line and my shoe line. I’m just getting ready for my movie - ”Repo! The Genetic Opera” is coming out soon. So I’m just getting ready for that.

AP: With all your projects, do you still have time for fun?

Not as much as I used to when I was younger. But I’m always traveling. I have a lot of businesses I run. Everything is so successful so it feels really great and I’d rather be working than doing anything else.

Amy Winehouse may have just found herself a new object of her affections.

According to the Daily Mail Ms. Crackhouse has hooked up with her manager’s assistant, Alex Haynes, 24. Apparently Amy told husband Blake Fielder-Civil during a recent prison visit that they were through.

It looks like she’s ditched the locket she was wearing of her ‘Blake Incarcerated’, but is still sporting her wedding ring..

Janis Winehouse, Amy’s mom, who has been very outspoken about her feelings toward Blake, said of Alex,

“I’d spoken to Alex a couple of times over the phone, but this was the first time I’d actually met him. He’s a lovely boy, gentle and sweet. He really looked after Amy popping out to buy cigarettes, papers, anything she wanted. He works for her manager so their relationship was professional to begin with but if they’ve made something of it, I’m thrilled.

Blake has sent her down the wrong path - drugs and self-harm. She needs a man she can depend on, who can look after her. I’m praying Alex is that man. Blake has had a weird control over her for so long so I can’t get my hopes up. He is always calling her from prison, threatening to divorce her but it’s just emotional blackmail.

More than anything, I want her to be drug-free so she can finally put this terrible time behind her.”

Haynes reportedly doesn’t do drugs or smoke and he drinks very little. I hear he has all of his teeth as well. Bonus!

Miley Cyrus is embarrassed about a picture which featured her almost topless in the coming issue of Vanity Fair.

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” she told Usmagazine.com in a statement.

“I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about,” the Us Power Girl added.

Boy, Vanity Fair is really kicking things up a notch.  First they get Lindsay Lohan topless, than they feature Jessica Simpson in a sexy shoot and now they are going after a topless Miley Cyrus?  I think Black Tail has had a calmer month.  God knows if those pictures are actually publishes, things are gonna get nuts

Brenda Song stars on one of those horrible Disney channel shows.  She’s also done a spectacularly bad Disney Channel movie.  She has done one thing right though, look hot.  Although she looks like someone that would send you to prison, she’s actually 20.  She sounds like a loads of fun too.

Song turned 20 on March 27, 2008 and spoke out against becoming another wild Hollywood star. “Besides Hollywood grand-openings and award shows, I try to stay away from the parties. It’s so easy to be swept away from that whole scene because it’s expected of you. I’ve never drank or smoked in my entire life, but I’ve seen 15-year-olds drinking and smoking and I just think that’s gross.”

You know happens to girls who never drink or smoke then go off to college?  They end up as porn stars.  This girl is going to explode in a huge display of rebellion and I’m going to be there to clean the mess up.  Its my duty as a fan.
